The Butterfly Tattoo
Edith Bellamy's "The Butterfly Tattoo." Not one of my personal favorites of hers, but I wasn't the one deciding on what story to post. It is interesting in that there is a racial change along with the gender which is unusual for her work. In any case, read and enjoy.
