Did you think she was truly dead?  Yes, so did I.  Perhaps she is dead, though perhaps not.

I truly do not know.  It may be that her process survived and that someone else has taken up her mantle.

Or maybe this is one of her earlier works that someone found and set here as a trap for the unwary.

The Avon Lady

The people have spoken, and the next Edith Bellamy story is none other than "The Avon Lady."  I could go into my own synopsis of the story but Edith was kind enough to include one in the original posting of the story so here it is:

SYNOPSIS.

A well-to-do suburbanite errs in spurning his wife's Avon Lady; as a result, he becomes an avid consumer of her wares.

Femme Rain: Searching for a Cure

So much for getting these captions done for Christmas.  I don't have much hope for getting you the story before the end of the day either, I have to work late.  I will try to get a New Years caption made and posted though.

Fruit of the Underworld

Another caption in my "New Age" series.  Not very sexy, sorry about that.  I'm not sure where I'm going with this in the long run, still going through waking up the pantheon.  We'll see who wakes up next.  I would tell you to vote for the next Edith Bellamy story but given the current season and the current results that I'm seeing I'm just going to call it here, barring a serious upset.  Now all I have to do is finish enough captions so that I can post another story in time for Christmas.  I have several in the works, including a Christmas caption for you all, so it shouldn't be too large of a problem.
